Our Community

Inspiring Change Throughout the Colorado Community

Community is family.  A cornerstone of Grandma’s Frozen Noodles core beliefs is supporting our friends and neighbors. In a world filled with uncertainty, providing support and honoring our local advocates who are working to improve everyday life is not just our pleasure, it’s our joy.

Community Table

Community Table endeavors to promote an environment where individuals from all walks of life can foster a sense of self-sufficiency and always have access to food.  Founded in 1982, Community Table was originally the Arvada Community Food Bank.  This organization has evolved from its founding after gaining an outpouring of support from civic groups, local businesses, city and county governments, and additional human service providers.  Their continued goal is to empower Northern Jefferson County by sharing the tools to facilitate self-empowerment and leave poverty behind.

The Colorado 4-H Horse Buckle Program

Near and dear to our heart, the Colorado 4-H Horse Buckle Program recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of youth horse members. This program includes competitive horse shows that foster responsibility, discipline, commitment, public speaking, and animal care.  Youth members of the 4-H Buckle Program annually compete in a wide array of events at the Colorado State Fair Overall Highpoints and the State Conference Division competitions to showcase the animals that they care for and what they’ve learned.

Hope House of Colorado

The mission for Hope House came about through the founders’ work with teenage moms in a Teen MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) support group.  Discovering that most of the girls they worked with had unstable home lives, the founding members of Hope House took upon themselves the mantle to empower  teen moms and their children.  Hope House of Colorado empowers parenting teenage moms to strive for personal and economic self-sufficiency while understanding their significance in God’s sight, promoting a healthy future for themselves and for their children.
