Some of Grandma's Cooking Tips

Pasta Water and Sauce: If you're making a sauce, remember to always save a cup or two of pasta water. Drain the pasta water a few minutes before the noodles are fully cooked through and finish the noodles in the sauce, adding a small amount of pasta water with the sauce. This gives the noodles time to absorb and stick to the sauce while the pasta water works its magic.

Cooking Directly in Broths: Grandma's Noodles can absorb 1.6 to 1.8 times their weight in water or broths. This means cooking them directly in broths can make for some incredibly delicious noodles. Just remember that the starch will create a hint of cloudiness in our broth.

Cooking at Altitude: The boiling point of water is reduced at higher altitudes, so take this into account when determining your cooking time. Noodles might take a little longer at altitude.
